Mian Muhammad Nazir is a Vice President with Dubai Islamic Bank, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

He is an accomplished and renowned Shari'a lawyer in the field of Islamic banking and finance, working in the Shari'a Structuring and Coordination Department of Dubai Islamic Bank.

Before joining the Bank in 2005, Mian Nazir was a Legal Advisor for Dallah Al Baraka Group, Saudi Arabia. He has also worked with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority as Director, Law and Regulatory Affairs.

In addition to degrees in Shari'a and Law from International Islamic University, Pakistan, he holds a masters degree in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
